Ticket dashboard in wp-admin
See open, in-progress and waiting tickets at a glance. Click any ticket to open it directly in the SimpleSupport dashboard.
Live badge count in the menu
A red badge on the SimpleSupport menu item tells you how many tickets need a reply — just like the native WordPress comments counter.
Floating support widget
A customisable chat button appears on every page of your site. Choose position (bottom-right or left) and brand colour from Settings.
Shortcode embed
Prefer a dedicated support page? Use [simplesupport] to embed the widget on a specific page only.
Fully customisable
Match your brand with a custom widget colour. Works with any WordPress theme — no CSS conflicts, no shortcode required.
Free plan included

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a SimpleSupport account?
Yes. The plugin is a connector — the tickets and dashboard live in SimpleSupport. Create a free account in under a minute, no credit card needed.
Can I show the widget on one page only?
Yes. Uncheck "Show support widget on all pages" in Settings, then add [simplesupport] to any page or post.
Where do I reply to tickets?
Full ticket management — replies, assignments, statuses — happens in the SimpleSupport dashboard. The wp-admin view shows a live summary and links directly to each ticket.
Does it work with page builders (Elementor, Divi, Gutenberg)?
Yes. The widget is injected via wp_footer, which works with all themes and page builders. The shortcode also works inside any block or widget area.
Is it free?
The plugin itself is free and open source (GPL v2). SimpleSupport offers a free plan with 100 tickets/month. See pricing for higher volumes.
When will the plugin be on the WordPress.org directory?
It's been submitted and is awaiting review. Until it lands on the directory, you can install SimpleSupport on any WordPress site with the universal JS widget — paste one <script> tag into your theme footer (or use a code snippet plugin). Same features, same 2-minute setup. Setup guide →
